If you are an aspiring writer looking for a free way to publish your book, then this information will blow your mind.
CreateSpace is the self-publishing service Amazon makes available for new writers at no cost.
And the good news is that now it’s open for the first time to writers of all genres, all countries, no matter your experience.
You can set everything up literally in minutes and publish your book both in paperback and ebook formats.
And best of all, you can reach an audience of millions of readers and earn high royalties from your books (royalties = book earnings!).
What do you need to get started?
3 things only:
- Your book in a DOC file (Microsoft Word or similar)
- A JPG image file for your book cover (if you don’t have one, you can choose one of their ready-made cover templates. They are pretty basic, but enough to get started)
- An idea of what you want your book to look like (format and pages color). I personally recommend format, simply because it´s the standard size. If you check your bookshelves, you’ll see most of the books are this size. As for page color, I’d suggest cream over white. It just looks easier on the eye.
As you can see, it's fairly easy!

(One last tip: When you are setting up your project in your control panel, choose the Guidedsetup. This will make it a breeze to create your book.)

Looks gorgeous, doesn’t it? And very high quality, too.
